I am a British-born writer who lives on a plane between New York City and London. Current work includes a two-act farce, A Comedy of Manors, which was recently the bestselling play in the history of the Adirondack Theatre Festival and featured by the 2016 Kilroys’ List of best new plays by women. Further work includes digital projects for the Creative Council, a group of comedians and writers working (absolutely unofficially) in support of Hillary for America. A recent digital project, Swapped, premiered on Refinery29 and was featured by Entertainment Weekly, The Mary Sue, Nylon, Hello Giggles, IndieWire, Esquire, and many more. Further work has been featured by IAF.tv, Funny or Die, the British Comedy Guide, Bitch Flicks, Nuva Comedy and more.

My stage show, Jihad! The Musical, sold out runs at Jermyn Street Theatre in London, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A new musical, Helen of Troy, has been developed by the Lark Play Development Center, Princeton University, Midtown Direct Rep, etc. My work has been performed at the York, the Lark, the Laurie Beechman, the Sage, the D-Lounge, and other venues.

I am EVP of Theatre for LiveStyled, who provide mobile merchandising at live events. Audiences at an event with LiveStyled can order concessions, downloads, and physical merchandise directly from their phone – no standing on line. They also enjoy digital playbills (that’s programmes to the Brits) and personalized offers and information. I co-created the theatrical department and work with the CEO and team to bring live commerce to Broadway, West End, and regional productions. Clients include major UK rock festivals, concert venues, sporting venues, etc.

Further writing includes In Game: The Series, a web series set in the world of live action role play or LARP, and a whole host of short films, comedy videos, and so on.  I worked at Code Entertainment in Hollywood, and am an alumnus of UCLA Professor Emeritus Lew Hunter’s Screenwriting Colony, and of Oxford University. I am a member of ASCAP, the Dramatists Guild of America, and the BMI Advanced Musical Theatre Writing Workshop.

When not writing or consulting I am probably baking blondies, partaking in nerd culture, and feeling good about finally being able to do 30 proper push-ups.
